When the Truth Gets into Your Heart

So then, my dearly loved brothers, be steadfast, unmoveable,
abounding in the work of the Lord always,
knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1Corinthians 15:58

When the truth gets into your heart, nothing can take you away from it.  Nobody’s bad conduct, nobody’s hurtful words, nobody’s ungodly attitude can move you from the light of Christ.  No misfortune, no disappointment, no physical ailment can take you away from your Lord.  You will not turn from the truth because of what others do or say, for in your heart, you know the problem is their lack of it.  You will not turn from the truth because of bad things that happen, for in your heart, you know God’s answer for you is in it.  For those who have taken the truth into their heart, every pain, physical or spiritual, causes them to cling more tenaciously to the truth; it does not loosen their grip on it.
When the truth gets into your heart, the truth is your home, your hiding place, and nothing outside the truth attracts you.  You cannot envy those without the truth, no matter how wonderful their lives appear to be, because you feel so very blessed to have the truth that you pity anyone who is without it.
We become steadfast and immovable when the truth gets into our heart, and we abound in His work, because the truth constantly reminds us that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
